I met Marlene Heise in August 2005 when I joined the Bakersfield Breakfast Rotary Club. Marlene has operated her own company, Heise Media Group, for over twenty years and has earned an impeccable reputation.

Her firm provides a full line of services: branding, email campaigns, event planning, logo design; media buys, print, social media, television and web design. Her work product has earned dozens of awards.

The greatest tribute to Marlene is her client list, which includes: Bakersfield College Foundation, Bank of the Sierra, Banks Pest Control, Dignity Health Medical Group, Electrical Systems and Instrumentation (ESI), Goodwill Industries, HealthSouth Rehabilitation Houston Jewelers, Kern Transportation Foundation, Sparkle Uniform & Linen Service, Today Cleaners and yes, the Kern County Taxpayers Association.

Marlene’s contemporary ideas, innovative input and forward-looking concepts are stimulating. On the personal side, Marlene’s personal traits are beyond reproach. Honesty, integrity, work ethic and knowledge of the community are just a few of the qualities that define Marlene. She is not only a friend, but a trusted confidant. We meet regularly to counsel each other. Her guidance is critical part of my thought process.
